Unlike any mesh chair you've experienced, Liberty combines all the benefits of traditional mesh seating — breath-ability, durability, sustainability and aesthetic appeal — with the body-friendly support of contoured foam cushions. Instead of using a single, flat panel of stretch mesh for the backrest, Liberty features three panels of extremely low-stretch mesh, bonded together in a specific pattern (inspired by the trim fit of men's tailored shirts) to create a contoured shape optimized for the human back. Beginning with its first product — an anti-glare filter that improved the visibility of monochrome monitors in the early 1980s — the company has methodically designed some of the most innovative products in the industry. In the late 1990s, Humanscale made a significant mark with its introduction of high-performance articulating keyboard systems, offering effortless one-touch adjustability while eliminating the knee-clearance issues associated with competing solutions.
